Voting for your Student Council E-Board will take place Thursday 5/1 through Sunday 5/4.  A link will be sent across the Scholars listserv on Thursday. If you do not receive this email, please contact Mallory.

The third issue of the Spring 2008 newsletter is now available for download.

You are all invited to the final presentations of the SCHL 227 service learning projects on Thursday May 8th at 4:30pm. Please come and learn more about some volunteer opportunities in the community while supporting your fellow scholars! Refreshments will be served.  Click here for program details.

Scholars graduation ceremony will be held on Friday May 16th. Invitations will be mailed to your home addresses at the beginning of next week. Please contact Mallory or Mary with any questions.  Invitations to the Binghamton Scholars Graduation Ceremony and Reception on May 16 in the Old University Union Hall from 4:30-6 pm will be sent to your home addresses this week. Parents/Guardians should RSVP with the number attending by April 21. We look forward to seeing you there.

Please be aware that any scholar who is planning to graduate but has not had the required meeting with the scholars GA will not be sent an invitation and cannot be included in the graduation program. Please contact Mallory Emerson asap at mallory.emerson@gmail.com if you need to set up a meeting.

Also, any scholar who is sent an invitation but has not handed in all required paperwork by the end of the semester will not be able to have their name called at the ceremony to receive their scholar’s certificate.

The SOS Shelter needs our help…and it is extremely easy for you to contribute! Bring donations of clothes, toiletries, books and toys to Mallory’s office during business hours to drop them off!  If you are interested in helping with this donation drive, please contact Alessandra at atarche1@binghamton.edu.

Seniors, if you have met with Mallory and your requirements are complete, DARS reports should be updated within a couple weeks. If you have questions about what requirements you still need to fulfill or which paperwork you need to hand in, Mary LaCourt has a list in her office.
